Thanks Ron, I appreciate the reassurance on my windings. I've checked the capacitor C5 and it is labeled 390 and C1 joint looks pretty good. I'll be resoldering the one leg of T1 as pointed out by Keith and if that makes no difference and then check voltage at pins 7&9.?
