If I manage to remove it, I'll replace it with a conventional zener.
I happen to have some 3,6V 400mA zeners, can I use these?
Matti, please read
QMX QMX_plus D109. So you should use only (SMT) 3.6V 500mA.

Resistance Vdd - Gnd is 183 ohms so I should replace D109. But how? It sits in very tight place.
I don't have a QMX+ here in the moment. I'm not sure there is enough place to do the following. I would use a sharp pencil type tip for the solder iron, set the temperature to 350¡ãC, put a bit flux on D109, a bit solder at the tip and touch one side of D109. After a few seconds I would try slightly to lift this side of D109 using tweezers. After this the same for the other side until D109 is free.
