Just by way of update, I received the power bank yesterday. I hooked up my QMX to it using the USB-C to DC cable and voltage meter items I purchased and linked above, and also a 60w dummy load just to keep things safe. I then added a Putikeeg (sic?) paddle keyer to the QMX and tried some random dits and dahs.

It looks to me that on TX it's putting out about 8.64v maximum when hitting the paddles and drawing 12.01v for powering the QMX in general. From what I can see, with my extremely limited knowledge, this looks to be working just fine and more importantly it's working safely?
