1:- now we have the SSB firmware released, can we now do multitone digital modes? or does SSB only work on the mic input and not the USB sound card?
SSB works on USB sound card too, the audio source is selected in the SSB menu. When USB is selected you can use any multi tone Digi modes, phase shifted modes, Vara, whatever. It works.?
2:- if question one is yes multitone is now possible, will the SSB functionality be a possible enhancement to the QDX as well so it could also do multitone digital modes?
No. QDX doesn't have amplitude modulation so it can't do polar modulation SSB.?
