My advice:
Just release it stating it's for the adventurous, just enough documentation for now.
Step back for a week or two, not engaging much with the forum.
Let the inevitable complaints come in, let the forum members mostly sort it out for themselves.

Regardless how you do it, does sound like it's about time to release it.
Most of us will fully enjoy trying it out and ranting about what should be improved.
