All you need to do is bend that left hand wire back to the “down” position and turn it sideways so the wires come out sideways from the ends as in the manual. That isn’t unwinding anything since windings are counted as they pass through the hole, not when bent around the outside. Make?sense? ?73… Ron

I've just wound 1 side of the binocular core ... 10 turns.?? At this point, the two ends
are pointing down if the holes are in an up/down orientation.? But, I noticed in
one of the pics in the assembly manual that T507 is installed with the holes
to the side.? To accomplish that, it seems like I'd have to half unwind one of the
turns (??).

So, can I install T507 in the holes up/down orientation?
