My U3S story: ?It ran well for about 2 weeks, WSPRing on 10 meters, GPS controlled. ?It is a very clever design.

Today I noticed it was resetting itself once in a while, so I found a problem with my homebrew 5v supply. ?Fixed that with a few caps on the 7805 output. ?Now the GPS won¡¯t function. ?Solid red, yellow and green lights (yes, I¡¯ve checked the settings many times). ?Oh, and the single BS170 was running on 10.2 volts, a nice 240mW RMS sine wave output on the scope when it was working.

My bad, my conclusion: ?I¡¯ve invested way too much time on this project.

So if someone wants a U3S, TCXO board, QLGP2 GPS, (may not be working) and a case, I will part with it all (as-is condition, no guarantees) for shipping & handling, how about $20 to a US address? ?Please contact me off list, my email is also on QRZ.com.
