5W is a perfectly good starting point for amplification.? There is no shortage of 50-100-watt class amplifiers available for those who want more power.? My Hardrock50, for example,? is perfect for use with QRP Labs radios, and it has a great built-in tuner, which can also be used with the barefoot radio.
