Interesting thread as I too have had issues with my Win10 laptop and WSJT-X and QMX+ lately.
It all *used* to work totally fine until... I dont know what....
?
Right now I have done ALL of the things mentioned in this thread - including serial putty into the config and trying to change the audio levels per band, double checking everything set up in WSJT-X and Windows sound interface.

My symptoms: ? very low audio into WSJT-x, ?like < 10dB ?(red) and almost no signals seen the waterfall and none decoded.

*** Here is the strange thing: ?Even on my MacBook Air WSJT-x behaves exactly the same *** ?extremely low input levels.

*** And another strange thing: ?HDSDR SDR software on the Windows machine and CubicSDR on the MacBook Air work perfectly ***

In other words,, ?since I/Q is enabled on the QMX+ I see the expected spectrum displays on both SDR apps and can hear the decoded ?USB / CW just fine.

BUT... not enough audio input to WSJTx...
So what changed ? ?Last thing I did was disable some of the CW filters in the QMX+ menu..thats all. ?But I am in DIGI mode for FT8 anyways... and even if I set it to "None" in CW bandwidth - which turns off the cw filters - no diff.

I have wsjtx v2.6.1, i have uninstalled it, ?reinstalled it, rebooted pc and QMX+... im out of ideas.
