I've read through the manual a few times, and understand some of it (but probably not all of it).? I think the two settings that really shape AGC response are the threshold level and "S9 sounds like X."? Setting the threshold to 4 (begin AGC at S4) and S9 sounds like S6 have drastically reduced the variability in signal volume for me.? What I'm talking about in my message isn't key clicks, it's a crackling, static-like noise when a signal is below the threshold.? The noise goes away when the AGC engages.
