Unfortunately, I learned a new one the hard way recently... Went to plug in the BNC to a dummy load on a newly finished QDX, and found that the BNC was defective...there was a fair amount of plastic molded OVER the center pin. No option to just solder to the top pads on these, it was a bear to remove the BNC connector, clean out the holes, and install a spare I had.... Always double and triple check your parts before soldering them in!?
