Thank you and sorry, I did not realize that.

Dear Bekir
ALL QRP Labs kits are supplied without printed instructions. Each kit has a detailed assembly manual on its page at the QRP Labs website. Please refer to to see the PDF file assembly instructions for the dummy load kit. It will make everything?clear.?

Please excuse my questions if they sound stupid; I am not knowledgeable in electronics as some of you are.
My QMX+ kit arrived today with all the additions I have ordered. To regain my practice in soldering I started with the dummy load. I have alway thought a dummy load would consist of resistors only but the kit had a capacitor and a diode, too. I soldered these onto their relevant holes on the board, anyway. To my surprise there were 4 holes labeled W0 to W3 plus 2 more holes labeled Power and Ground. I could not figure out what these were for since there were no instructions accompanying the kit. (One would not normally need one for something as simple as a dummy load.)
A friend suggested the capacitor and the diode might be to convert the signal to DC so as to be able to measure it with a voltmetre.
Any explanations?
