Alan, what I see is that I can read and set the C2 value but this has no effect on what I see from the BS170 gate drive (a convenient place to look).? Changing the Rx frequency within a band doesn't have any effect either but changing the band does change the CLK2 frequency.? It's almost as if the signal is coming from somewhere else.

Dave, I tried looking at it and could decode the occasional message but not a continuous stream of data which is what it needs.? The Sigrock project looks interesting and there seems to be a Pi Nano based interface.

Anyway I've some MS5351Ms coming.? The mainstream places (Digikey, Mouser, etc.,) only provide the Si5351 but an outfit in Schenzen will supply them.
