Re: QMX+ Receiver MDS measurements

Hi all,
following the debate in this thread I did some MDS (Minimum Discernible Signal) subjective/objective measurements my-way.
I have used:
- QMX+ at +12V
- Agilent RF gen and additional 10dB RF attenuator, the frequency offset inside the FT8 window
- WSJT-X SW in FT-8 mode
and I tried to find the minimum signal that is popping out of the noise (~10dB).
?
There is an obvious signal accumulating going on during the FT-8 time of reception. But it was interesting that the results were quite easy to achieve. And perhaps this method could be used for the comparison.
?
Please take these results as indicative although I rely on them:
7.075100MHz, -145dBm
14.075200MHz, -145dBm
24.916200MHz, -136dBm
28.075200MHz, -132dBm
50.314200MHz, -128dBm
