Almost any radio will be improved somewhat by a good BPF and the QMX with a decent RF amplifier should make these receivers as sensitive as the ones you quote.

For the QMX+? however,? an outboard ultra? low noise front-end amplifier (preselector)? for receive would most likely need a switch out method during the? WSPR/FT8? TX cycle.??

Actually....this switch out 'signal' could be implemented in the? individual user's? script programming that Hans is implementing as part of the UI.
