I'm here :-) Not really a design improvement, more a comment to the existing system.
The BMS I got from Am... is not really doing it's basic job, or at least what I would have expected.
I turned up the voltage a little more and two of the three cells a full and one lacking behind, in this case the large resistors on the board should start wasting energy to keep the full cells below 4.25 V.
My readings are:

The 4.27 should be still okay, but 4.37 V is too much and the resistor is not even starting to burn energy.
