I have been using a W2LI loop for several years. It's the best price/performance ready-to-use low power hf loop that I'm aware of.

I use it daily from my home shack in a high-rf city townhome. The high Q and directional pattern really helps cut down on the noise. I primarily use it for js8call and some ft8. From my location, I get more contacts on 40 and 30, than 20 - not sure why.

I have used it portable a few times, and it's quite packable - the tripod that I use with it is probably the biggest size/weight component. (By ¡±packable" I mean suitcase, I don't know about hiking.)

The reduction on the tuning knob is enough to get a stable resonant match. I normally use it with a 7300 - tune for Max Rx noise first, then fine tune with tx. The narrow bandwidth would make tuning a little more tricky on a swr-sensitive rig like the QMX.
