As a long-time user of the Mountain Toppers with its spartanly simple user interface, I am of course a little biased. So it wasn't the many bells and whistles of the QMX that were the deciding factor for its purchase, but the many bands (60-15 m in my case).
I received the QMX on Monday afternoon and, after updating the firmware, tried it out yesterday on the 60-15 m bands on my indoor antenna, a multi-band doublet 2x 4.90 m, directly connected to an LDG Z11ProII ATU, separated from the shack via a 12.80 m long RG58 coax.
Tuning on all bands works absolutely smoothly (the voltage reduction for tuning was left at 50%). Simply perfect, what more could you want, hi.
