Been messing about with the recent build of the QMX. Today I decided to listen to the on-air Beacon and FT-8 signals. WOW is the word of the day!

At first I thought it might have been RF getting into the computer. I didn't consider that to be the issue being either the Icom 7100 or the Icom 756 ever caused any RF/Audio issues.

Did the normal when all fails to do a factory reset. Just went to basics and did the SWR test, same RF growl. SWR into the Hex Beam is 1.06. Not an issue there. No connection to the computer thru the USB. Clean PS .006 V ripple at 12VDC.

So before I go tearing into the lil one, I always ask for a possible hint or even if some soul has encountered the same problem
