As for the band limits, there will be a table of band limits in the firmware, could this be in the EEPROM section and adjustable by the user? That way all the requests for different band limits vanish, people can set their own, and there could be configuration apps to edit the EEPROM file.? Once this is in place Hans has to do nothing.

BTW isn't the EEPROM file supposed to be readable and writable so that users can save and restore different ones? I switched to update mode and can see the EEPROM file but it's not readable.
