microPA50+ works fine with QMX as long as you use the PTT cable and you have an adjustable power supply for the QMX to set the output power. The amp is a little touchy on input power and it varies across different bands. On some bands 2W in will be too much and will trip the amp's protection, on others 5W in is what you need to get 50W out. The amp's auto band detect function will trip the SWR protection on QMX so you need to set the band manually on the amp (3 quick button presses) and use the PTT output to key it.
