SECOND:
There is a constant tone (RX) in my QMX+ on 12, 11, 10, & 6 metres. Tuning around does not change it. It is relatively low in volume, but very noticeable. It varies with volume level and is higher in pitch than the ST - about 800-900 Hz, I'm guessing. An identical tone is also present in my QMX-HB on 12 & 11 metres only - curiously not on 10 m.?
Ian,? I have the same to me it sounds like processor noise again only on
12, 11, 10, & 6 metres.? I dont know if the frequency sensitve SMPS control is implemented on these bands but it might be a source or indeed the main CPU. One for Hans.
