Probably. Some people here noted that the SWR of a dummy load increases a little towards the top end of the frequency range of the 20-10m QMX. The cause is coupling between the transformer windings. You can improve it by trying to push the 0.6mm wire single-turn further away from the 10-turn 0.33mm wire turns. Having a piece of insulated hookup wire would tend to improve that separation automatically because the insulation takes?up a little space so enforces at least a small separation.?
