Watched a bunch of videos on upgrading firmware on QMX...none of the computer screen displays matched mine...as usual. Anyway, did not think about it for an hour or so and then went back and went through the routine again, saw the fw was in C drive so how to get it in the xxxxx radio! With the unzipped .017 line highlited (in blue), hold left mouse pressed "dragging" the ghost image down and left to the "QMX(D)" in left window margin and POOF! .the screen says "80m -20m"..? WTF? Turn the Tune knob and the screen cycles through "40m -10m" and something else. So I put it on 80-40 then turn it off...back on..,and POOF! .017 is in there!
S-meter is really neat, Hans! I will check other stuff later. You have done and are doing a really amazing radio! Even more amazing than the little Elecraft KX1 CW pocket transceiver.
