Queston on the +5v on TX for PTT Out ... I'm wondering how much current can be safely supplied with +5V on TX. If I can't repair the fault in my QMX, can I instead use the +5v out to trigger a small mechanical relay directly? The relay, in turn, can easily ground the line going into my SDR TX/RX Switch to activate it.
Though I suspect there's a far better solid state solution for this.
