i'd guess it's not a lot, but let me check. Just confirmed with the (tr)uSDX and the same cable and just had a CW QSO with that combo. IC705 works fine also, as does the Hermes Lite 2 (but with a different cable as the HL2 has no TRS but Cinch and DB9 output). So I'm very sure that the Hardrock 50 does behave as intended, and I've never seen in the forums that it would be particularly tricky to trigger..
