On Ebay I see "BS170-D27Z N Channel MOSFET onsemi UK Seller" He says "These are not to be confused with the many similar devices with transposed drain and source connections."
Maybe using the misprint of the Onsemi data sheet to spread the rumours and sell them expensively? ?1.70 each.
