I have Rev2 with firmware loaded which works, with difficulty.? I have to first start my lab PS at a voltage between ~7v-10v to see the bootloader screen (no backlight and a single line of dark squares on top line of display).? To start QMX I bump-up the supply voltage by 1 v, and the QMX works fine.? But...I'd like to eliminate the voltage bump.? How can I do that?
Also, as my firmware is already loaded, I'd like to reload the firmware to?see if there?might?be a glitch causing the first problem (above), and so I need to plug the?USB-C?cable into QMX and the computer, and when I do that before power is applied, I do NOT see the internal "USB-Disk" recognized by the computer after power is applied but the dark-bootloader screen comes up.? ?I don't see USB-Disk?on computer if I do a voltage bump, although I do get the regular, welcome screen going in the QMX.? Is there something else I should be doing?? I am assuming the USB port should be functional since it worked initially to load the firmware.? The other possibility is if I do a factory reset, it might kill? my ability?to load firmware afterwards, requiring hardware troubleshooting of the USB connector, which is going to be fiddly given its tiny size.
Does anyone have any experience with these issues?? Who knows, maybe they are features not bugs!? Regards, W9NET
