Has anyone tried or been successful using a MAT-705 Plus tuner with their QMX? My MAT-705 Plus works great with an IC-705 and I'd love to dual-purpose it with the QMX. I have a QRPoMeter between the QMX and tuner so high SWR during tune cycles won't happen. But I can't seem to figure out how to force the tuner to do its business.
?I've connected the supplied 3.5 mm TRS cable between tuner and QMX; also enabled PTT TX ground and PTT TX +5v in the band configuration, but still silence from the tuner, even when momentarily fed the full 4.5 watts.
?Any Ideas?
