Bob, This seems to be an uncommon issue. I have learned over the years in I.T. work that if I'm the only one with a particular problem, it's probably me. Double-check every solder joint. Perhaps you missed one or got a cold one somewhere. Of course, it could be a defective component. Good luck, OM. You'll really enjoy it once you get past this issue.
