That worked very well.? I made the mod this afternoon and the result mirrors yours as well as the RF Sweeps shown in the QMX Operating Manual.?

Like you, I added a 470 pF cap across C402 but it's physically too large to fasten the back cover.? So, I've just ordered some in a C0G SMD 1206 style that will lay flat?against?the PC board, between the C402 pins.??
