Hey all,
I just found out that the RING connection on the output jack is connected to PIN 5 of the processor in the Ultra PicoKeyer. I am not sure why this is connected, and it is not shown as a connection on my 2017 schematic, but it definitely IS there!?
Anyway, if you cut this trace from the RING of Output Jack to PIN 5 of the processor, the keying issue goes away with the KX2 and I would presume, other rigs with the same issue.
