If you're having issues with buggy cw on TX only (not practice), installing a couple of caps on the cw wires might help.
I discovered that (QCX days) emitted RF seemed to be causing small voltages on the keyer wires (was using the 50w amp).. I tried all sorts of choke baluns but the penny dropped when I noticed that the keyer inputs wires fed directly into the AT processor.
Noting that one of the keyer wires is gnd. I installed caps from gnd. to each of the keyer signal wires (iambic) Problem completely gone after that.
