I'm planning to visit Japan this coming spring, and I was planning to bring my QDX along.??
I was reading , and found this section about the radio itself:
(10) If your radio does not have 'Technical Standard Certification Number*', your radio needs to be assured by the authorized assurer called "JARD ". The assurance fee is Yen 4,100 for a single radio
Has anyone else tried to get a TSCN for the QDX?? If not, I can just get it certified myself, since I have time and 4100 JPY isn't that expensive,?but I figured I might as well ask: I saw that the firmware does have a "Japanese band limits" operating mode, so I can't be the first one to operate there...
