The volume control as designed
is a bidirectional linear step control.? It may take many spins
of the control to make significant changes in the perceived
audio level.? The human ear and computer between the ears are
logarithmic; ergo an audio volume control is a log taper
design.? If possible, Hans should modify the algorithm such that
the step change is logarithmically related to the current audio
gain (or attenuation). see

On my unit - the keyer glitches are less frequent on
0.14 but aren¡¯t resolved;
Concur.? I have had a few QSO's now and they are still frequent
enough to cause issues when tying to hold a nice chew with
someone.? Long dits are more common than short dahs and I have not
heard any long dahs at all.? Not had an issue with volume but I
have upped the steps to 0.5db?
