Ryuji, The larger core sits directly across the output to ground and at high power must have adequate inductive reactance at the lowest frequency of operation?to minimize losses in the core resulting from the ferrite's lossy equivalent resistive component.? The large core gives an effective much higher Al than the small core with much higher inductance than the small core. The two cores could have used two large cores of the same size but not necessary and would take up a lot more space, size, and increased cost.
