Some progress!?
After considering the fact that 80, 60 and 40 all use the same IC402 mux selection for the BPF, I started making continuity checks on the re-installed L401. Bingo! Somehow in previously removing L401 I must have damaged the through hole at the end of the 28th winding. There was no connectivity to the bottom side of the PC board and IC402 pin 3. I ran a clipped off capacitor lead through the hole and soldering it to both L401 and the pad on the underside of the board? to resolve that problem. Now the RF Sweeps are different...but I'm still baffled by a double humped response curve on all bands except 80M ....? ? Any ideas??
The stranger thing to me is now the Tx pwr? is now back to what it what originally. I don't understand the interaction (@ Hans - theory of operation?) between the Rx BPF and the Tx pwr out, but if there is supposed to be one I could understand why Tx pwr was previously erratic.
