I pleased to report my QMX passed the smoke test.? I used a current limited 7.3 volt supply.? Loaded software no problem.? Input current measured 147mA at 7.3 volts input voltage.? PuTTY worked for me with a serial port setting of COM10 using Windows 11.? Diagnostic screen shows no errors.? Receive scans look reasonably good from the PuTTY diagnostic screen (See attached).? I'll play with it a bit with a real antenna to get used to the I/O, then onward to mount it in its case and get up the courage to transmit in CW.
