Reading this with great interest because I¡¯ve been using PD supplies and 12v cables with my QDX and my QMX just arrived yesterday. I¡¯ll have to put a scope on the cables as they¡¯re plugged in to the wall wart or battery.?
While the suggestion of plugging the cable into the supply before the QMX as a solution, I have frequent loss of power from our wonderful power company - like weekly it seems - and in that scenario the QMX would be connected to the PD cable when the generator kicks in.?
I hope it able to be resolved easily because it¡¯s a very convenient way to power a radio. I¡¯ve used them extensively traveling with my 705.?
