Hans, I used to send all my email from a server I owned. There was a period where it wasn¡¯t getting through. I was only sending private correspondence and no business emails at all. After months of digging I found that my web host shared one server with a lot of other websites. Of course this is common. It only took one of them to start spamming people for the filters to mark all emails from all of this websites on that server as spam. In my case physically moving to a different server in there block fixed it.
Following these rules helps a lot, and not just with gmail:?
