How terrible?? Usually as high as 10:1 sometimes greater.
How do radios with internal tuners survive this, they reduce power from the usual
100W to maybe 20W.
The suggestion to use a tayloe or resistive bridge is generally the best path.
It isolates the final with an acceptable load and lowers radiated power
(less interference).
