SUCCESS!!
I resoldered the encoder switches and I was able to get electrons to flow. About 170 mA at 9 VDC (wired for 12 VDC).? The USB port was still not recognized so I gingerly resoldered it. Still no USB port recognized by Win10. But I'm getting closer.?
Finally I tried another USB cable and this time SUCCESS!!! The little QMX booted to 7.074 MHz CW!
The QMX is up and running. I'll do some TX and RX tests tomorrow, but today has been a good day. (Even though I got older - hi!)
