AS a retired field engineer, I can tell you that in the end the old cut an try school of circuit design is what makes all the sales? boys and lab boy look good in the end.

What prototyping method do you use? I find it takes so long to get something thrown together.
I cut my copper clad by scoring it on both sides and then bending. Then cut individual pads with a scraper.
