I have a proposed shift in location and a date for the 2024 QMN Picnic. Our radio club (Branch County ARC) is honored to offer our meeting site for use for the picnic. The facility is the Branch County Memorial Airport (KOEB) and it is located at 351 Airport Drive, Coldwater, MI 49036. I have secured permission for QMN to use the facility. I suggest a 12 noon start, but that does not have to be cast in stone.

This facility has outdoor picnic tables in addition to a large meeting room inside. I propose Saturday, October 19, 2024 as the date. This is about a month later than usual, but if the weather is good, we can meet in the fresh air. If it is cold and/or rainy, there is plenty of space in the meeting room. We have had as many as 50 at a Christmas party at this facility. We also have a number of folding tables along with chairs if needed.

I am hopeful that many members can fit this into their schedules and and that we have a good turnout.? I have included some pictures along with the information. Whether we do this or not will depend on what the membership thinks and is willing to do. Coldwater is easy to get to (I-69 comes right through Coldwater) and is central East/West in the state.?
