When heading west from Rt. 441,that is just past The Mall at Wellington Green on the same side of Forest Hill Blvd. The restaurant?has a private room for groups like us, will be able to give us separate checks and has a special $7.99 lunch menu (with purchase of any beverage).

QCWA Chapter 111 Palm Beach December Lunch Meeting
Good evening everyone,
This is just a reminder that our December meeting is not on our usual date. Instead of meeting on the last Tuesday in December, we will be meeting on December 19, 2023. Our meeting last week at Bonefish Mac's in Wellington was a big success with a nice crowd so we will be meeting there again in December and for future meetings. Bonefish Mac's is a sit-down restaurant with waiter/waitress service and a nice menu and large portions. They have a $7.99 lunch special (M-F) with the purchase of a beverage but you can also order from the full menu.?

At our last lunch meeting on Tuesday, October 31, we discussed the option of using facilities other than the Golden Corral for our monthly meetings. We talked about going to Bonefish Mac's on Forest Hill Blvd in Wellington for our next meeting.
Bonefish Mac's has a private room for groups like us, will be able to give us separate checks, has a special $7.99 lunch menu (with purchase of any beverage) and is eager to have us. You can also order from their regular menu as well. The specials menu has
things like 1/2 # burgers, Tex-Mex Burrito, Chicken Sandwich (blackened, grilled or BBQ), Fish Sandwich, Pasta, Soup and Sandwich and Chopped Salad. They all come with one side. I ate there recently and their portion sizes were large. Other members had dined
there with good meals.
The group unanimously agreed to try Bonefish Mac's for November and possibly for more meetings based on our experience there. Bonefish Mac's is located at 10880 Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington. That is just past The Mall at Wellington Green on the
same side of Forest Hill Blvd. The restaurant has a frequent dining program for lunch where after eight paid lunches, you get a free lunch. Just pick up your membership card and get it punched.
The November meeting will be on Tuesday, November 28th at 11:30 AM. I will be sending out the usual meeting reminders later in the month. We usually meet on the last Tuesday of the month except for December. The last Tuesday in December usually
interferes with the holidays so we have our meeting earlier in the month. I don't have the exact date yet for December.

Tropical Storm Idalia looks like it will miss us directly, but it's effects will certainly be felt here with heavy rain and higher than usual winds. They predict that the worst will be on Tuesday. Maybe it will wait until Tuesday afternoon, maybe it won't.
Based on the possible poor driving conditions before and after our meeting, I am canceling the meeting for tomorrow (August 29, 2023). The Golden Corral will probably still be open for those that need to go or don't get this notice, but it will not be an official QCWA Chapter 111 activity. If you do go, please exercise extreme caution when driving and be safe. Hopefully, we can be back to normal for the September 26, 2023 meeting.
