Got my "new" used Q900 in the mail today

 

Hi Bob,,

sure I have suggestions.. and next to that, I am happy to proofread.. I have been writing manuals for applications as well in the past... sometimes people not just need to know what button does what, but how would you do this, and that..?

Bob that would be BRILLIANT.?

The manual as you say is a ‘How To’, but it is sorely missing the ‘What this means’.?
I think that would be genuinely helpful to so many.?

In other words, instead of documenting that this button does this and this button does that, I would write sections around "Operating CW on the HF Bands" or "Using local FM Repeaters".? Maybe folks on his board who have been using this radio can suggest a list of topics for the manual sections I'd write.?

Thoughts and ideas are welcome!
