The manual as you say is a ‘How To’, but it is sorely missing the ‘What this means’.?
I think that would be genuinely helpful to so many.?

I am a technical writer by education and wrote professionally for many years. I'm thinking of developing a manual for this thing around "use cases".? In other words, instead of documenting that this button does this and this button does that, I would write sections around "Operating CW on the HF Bands" or "Using local FM Repeaters".? Maybe folks on his board who have been using this radio can suggest a list of topics for the manual sections I'd write.?
Thoughts and ideas are welcome!
