Under contract with the U.S. Agency for
International Development (USAID), DT Global is implementing the 5-year, US$43m
Climate Ready Big Ocean State Sustainability (Climate Ready BOSS) project. The
overall goal is to strengthen the capacity of the Pacific Island countries
(PICs) to increase access to and improve management of financing and
investments that will support climate change mitigation and adaptation
efforts.?

such, DT Global is seeking applicants for the following positions:

Climate
Finance Policy Advisor
?
Support initiatives to build the climate
finance management capacity of public sector institutions in the PICs,
ensuring they can effectively access and manage climate
finance.?Assist PICs to develop and implement policies and
regulations that facilitate CF access and mobilization.
Requirements:?Experience
in Climate Finance (CF); familiarity with international funding mechanisms
and their requirements, financial modeling, and investment strategies.
Demonstrated ability supporting development of policies and regulations
related to CF management within the PICs. Proven track record of
productive engagement with governments, donors, and financial
institutions, within the PICs. A Bachelor's degree or higher
in?Environmental Sciences, Finance, Business Administration or?a
related field required. At least 6 years of experience in climate
finance.?

Project
Development Advisor?
?
Strategically support development of
climate-related projects; ensure they are investment-ready and align with
PICs’ priorities. Build local capacity; provide or coordinate
multi-disciplinary support to ensure climate projects are designed and
developed with a holistic approach, addressing all technical, financial
and operational aspects. Liaise between climate finance management
capacity-building initiatives and investment mobilization strategies.
Requirements:?Experience in
developing climate projects, with a focus on structuring and financing
deals in the areas of mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable
infrastructure. Proven ability to connect project development with
financing sources, bridging gaps to mobilize investment effectively.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams to
support comprehensive project development. Excellent communication and
negotiation skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders and
articulating complex project details. Ability to collaborate within teams,
promoting integration across diverse functional areas to enhance project
development efforts. A Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental
Sciences, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related
field.
