Plan International Asia Pacific Office is seeking to hire a full time?Finance Intern.? The Finance Intern will support the finance department in various financial tasks and gain practical experience in financial operations, reporting, and analysis. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in finance and enhance the intern's understanding of financial processes within the organization. The role reports to?Pacific Finance Manager. ? Do you have what it takes to be successful in this role? ? Accountabilities ? As a member of the Plan Pacific team, contributes to: ¡¤?????? Shared leadership of the Plan Pacific Country Offices. ¡¤?????? Supports the development of an organisational culture that reflects Plan International¡¯s values, promotes accountability and high performance, encourages a team culture of learning, creativity and innovation and frees up our people to deliver outstanding results for girls and excellent customer service for NOs and donors. Objectives: ¡¤?????? To assist in day-to-day financial operations. ¡¤?????? To gain practical knowledge of financial reporting and analysis. ¡¤?????? To develop skills in financial management software and tools. Key Responsibilities ¡¤?????? Help with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking. ¡¤?????? Assist in staff liquidation process ¡¤?????? Assist in GL reconciliation for month end ¡¤?????? Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and financial discrepancies. ¡¤?????? Participate in the audit preparation process. ¡¤?????? Support the finance team in various projects and tasks as assigned. Qualifications ¡¤?????? Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. ¡¤?????? Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. ¡¤?????? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP). ¡¤?????? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ¡¤?????? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
