Applications are invited from nationals of SPREP member countries and territories for the above positions with SPREP in Apia, Samoa.

The Climate Change Coordinator will coordinate, oversee and monitor the implementation of programmes and activities under the Climate Change and Variability Key Result Area of 厂笔搁贰笔’蝉 work program.? Primary responsibilities include technical advice to design and implement climate change programs to meet the needs of members and SPREP, assist staff and management secure funds and other support for the work program, guide staff to develop and implement? individual work programs, promote effective liaison and coordination of 厂笔搁贰笔’蝉 climate change activities with relevant stakeholders.? The Coral Reef Management Officer will assist with development and implementation of various coral reef projects, particularly to assist in implementation of the International Coral Reef Action Network – Pacific Action Phase (ICRAN), coordinate support to coral culture and reef restoration programs and assist with development of management plans for the coral trade in Pacific island countries including training in coral species verification and compliance with CITES.?
